SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 1, 2023) – Irys Technologies, Inc., a leading technology company headquartered in San Antonio, has acquired Diversified Technical Services, Inc. (DTSI), a provider of software development, cybersecurity, and IT services with a strong reputation in defense and government sectors. This strategic move combines Irys’s innovation-driven approach and technological capabilities with DTSI’s robust client base and IT service expertise, enhancing market reach and product offerings.
Founded in San Antonio in 2017, Irys is renowned for its cutting-edge technology in communication, maintenance and operations, and community engagement. It is the developer of products like the 311SA application and has partnerships in both the public and private sectors. The company will retain its Alamo City headquarters and will employ more than 60 individuals. The leadership teams from both Irys and DTSI are committed to a seamless integration, focusing on cultural alignment, operational efficiency, and leveraging diverse talents from both organizations.

The company will continue to operate under the name of Irys Technologies, Inc. and will be led by Beto Altamirano as CEO. Eduardo Bravo is the Chief Operating Officer; Greg Wickets is the Vice President of Operations; and Dave Ramos is the Vice President of Corporate Affairs. Irys co-founder Beto Gomez remains involved and is the CEO of the Better Futures Institute, a nonprofit organization established by Irys to advance a culture of innovation and civic engagement.
